COMMUNITY NOTICE

  • MANDATORY MASK WEARING IN PLACE

    We are a small clinic. When the doctors get sick, the clinic needs to close. Until further notice, mask wearing is now mandatory and a condition of entry at our facility. If you have any flu-like symptoms, please ensure you phone our receptionist who will provide further instructions PRIOR to you attending an appointment in person.

  • NEW PATIENTS

    The doctors have reached their full patient capacity and are currently unable to accept new patients until further notice. Please enquire with our friendly reception team if you wish to register your interest for when the doctors have capacity to accept new patients.

  • WE HAVE MOVED TO MIXED BILLING FROM MONDAY, 1ST OF MAY 2023

    The massive imbalance between the value of the Medicare rebate, national GP shortage and our actual operational costs, means that we are unable to absorb this financial burden any longer. GP fees are reviewed annually and subject to change in July 2024.

  • Scripts Policy

    Please ensure you book ahead for all routine appointments, including scripts. The doctors are busy and it is unfair on other patients who have pre-booked appointments. To avoid disappointment, book ahead at least 2-weeks as we do not guarantee a same-day appointment for scripts.

Our facility is located on Bold Street at Laurieton. There are three medical practitioners consulting at this location, casual doctors and telehealth services are also available.
FRACGP doctors support the training of new doctors at this location as part of their succession planning.
The doctors consulting at this facility provide mixed billing services.

Providing access to high quality care

Our receptionists at LHMC are ready to welcome you at your next visit. We have a knowledgeable and experienced Registered Nurse available onsite. We are a privately owned facility. Our facility is open to the public on Monday to Friday, from 8:30am until 5:00pm. We are closed on all public holidays and weekends.
